Hoping everyone had a great Christmas and great start to the new year. This is my first blog ever so here goes!
Chuck & I are so blessed to be a part of this family. In case any of you don't know, Lacy and her two girls have been staying with us for the past couple of years. Lacy Savanna & Olivia are planning to join Daddy(Cpl Christopher Cronkhite) sometime this year in North Carolina. He has re-enliisted and is looking for a house to buy in Jacksonviille NC. Nana & Papaw will sorely miss them but it will be a new beginning for all of them.
I stay busy caring for the girls whille Mommy works night shift as a CNA. Papaw stays very busy helping, playing jazz and working as an electrician.
I am hoping this website will draw us all closer and help us to stay connected. Please let Fay or I know if you have any ideas, comments or suggestions.

Hi all,
I am so glad to see the Rue family site going up. I hope to remember to contribute every now and then. For now, an update on my family.
My wife Sherri and our three kids; Thomas (9), Rachel (8) and Liberty (4), now live in Shorewood, IL. It is a Chicago suburb next to Joliet. Sherri is from this area. We actually live in the house she grew up in. I work as a portrait photographer and Sherri is Kindergarten teacher at Trinity Christian School in Shorewood. We like it here but do find that we miss central Illinois now and then. Myself especially. One of these days it would really be nice to get together with a few of my Rue family up here in the "burbs". Anyone who wishes please drop us a line through my web site.
